Musnad Ahmad 32:1828

Abdullah ibn Bakr narrated to us, Humaid narrated to us, from Anas, that the Prophet, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, was with one of his wives, when one of the Mothers of the Believers sent a bowl containing food. She (the wife who was with him) struck the hand of the servant, so the bowl fell and split. The Prophet, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, took [the pieces] and joined the two broken parts together, and began gathering the food into it, saying: "Your mother has become jealous, your mother has become jealous." He said to the people: "Eat." He detained the messenger until the other [wife] brought her bowl. The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, gave the intact bowl to the one whose bowl had been broken, and left the broken one for the one who had broken it.
