'Abd al-Samad narrated to us, 'Amarah narrated to us, from Thabit and 'Abd al-'Aziz, from Anas, who said: "I served the Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, for ten years. He never said to anything I did, 'Why did you do it?' And I never touched anything softer than the palm of the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, nor did I smell any perfume sweeter than the scent of the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace."
