Musnad Ahmad 32:1874

Khalaf ibn al-Walid narrated to us, Khalid narrated to us, from Humayd, from Anas, who said: "The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, was brown-skinned. And I have never smelled musk nor ambergris with a scent more pleasant than the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him."
