Hadith 32:1919

'Affan narrated to us, Hammad narrated to us, he said: Thabit and Humayd informed us, from Anas, that 'Abd al-Rahman ibn 'Awf arrived in Medina, and the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) established brotherhood between him and Sa'd ibn al-Rabi' al-Ansari. Sa'd said to him: "O my brother, I am the wealthiest of the people of Medina, so look at half of my wealth and take it. And I have two wives, so look at whichever of them is more pleasing to you so that I may divorce her [for you]." 'Abd al-Rahman said: "May Allah bless you in your family and your wealth. Direct me to the market." So they directed him to the market, and he went and bought and sold and made a profit. He came with some dried yogurt and ghee. Then he remained for as long as Allah willed him to remain, and he came and upon him was the trace of saffron. The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "What is this?" He said: "O Messenger of Allah, I have married a woman." He said: "What did you give her as a dowry?" He said: "The weight of a date stone of gold." He said: "Give a wedding feast, even if with a sheep." 'Abd al-Rahman said: "I have seen myself [in such a state] that if I were to lift a stone, I would hope to find gold or silver beneath it."
