Musnad Ahmad 32:1997

Yahya ibn Sa'id narrated to us, Shu'bah narrated to us, Qatadah narrated to us, he said: I heard Anas ibn Malik say: "The companions of the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, used to sleep, then they would pray and would not perform ablution."
