Musnad Ahmad 32:2080

'Affan narrated to us, Muhammad ibn Dinar narrated to us, Yahya ibn Yazid narrated to me, from Anas ibn Malik, that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) was asked about a man who had a wife, and he divorced her three times, then she married another man after him, and he divorced her before he had consummated the marriage with her: Is she lawful for her first husband? He said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "No, until the latter has tasted of her honey, and she has tasted of his honey."
