'Ali ibn Abi Isra'il narrated to us, he said: I asked my father about him, and he said: "A trustworthy sheikh." Abu Ishaq—meaning al-Fazari—informed us, from al-Awza'i, from Ishaq ibn 'Abdullah ibn Abi Talhah, from Anas ibn Malik, he said: "My mother sent me to the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, with something. I saw him standing, and in his hand was a branding iron, branding the charity (Sadaqah)."
