Musnad Ahmad 32:2092

'Affan narrated to us, Hammad narrated to us, he said: Thabit informed us, from Anas ibn Malik, who said: When [the verse] was revealed: "You will not attain righteousness until you spend from that which you love" [Al 'Imran: 92], Abu Talha said: "O Messenger of Allah, I see that our Lord is asking us for our wealth, and I call you to witness that I have made my land, Bayruha', for Allah the Almighty and Majestic." The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "Place it among your relatives." So he divided it between Hassan ibn Thabit and Ubayy ibn Ka'b. 'Affan said: Yazid said, from Humayd, from Anas: "Bariha'." And 'Affan said: "I asked more than one person from the people of Medina about it, and they claimed that it is Bayruha', and that Bariha' is nothing."
