Musnad Ahmad 32:2101

'Affan narrated to us, Hammad narrated to us, from Thabit, from Anas, that a group of the companions of the Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, asked the wives of the Prophet about his deeds in private. Some of them said: "I will not marry women." Some of them said: "I will not eat meat." Some of them said: "I will not sleep on a bed." And some of them said: "I will fast and not break my fast." He (the Prophet) stood up, praised Allah, and extolled Him, then said: "What is the matter with people who said such and such? But I pray and I sleep, I fast and I break my fast, and I marry women. So whoever turns away from my Sunnah is not of me."
