Musnad Ahmad 32:2166

'Ali ibn 'Abdullah narrated to us, Mu'adh narrated to us, he said: My father narrated to me, from Qatadah, from Anas ibn Malik, that the Prophet, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, found a date, and he said: "Were it not that I fear it might be from the charity, I would have eaten it."
