Musnad Ahmad 32:261

Waki' narrated to us, Jarir ibn Hazim narrated to us, from Thabit al-Bunani, from Anas ibn Malik, who said: "The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) would descend from the pulpit on Friday, and a man would speak to him regarding a need, so he would speak to him, then he would proceed to his place of prayer and pray."
