Abdullah ibn Bakr al-Sahmi narrated to us, Humayd narrated to us, from Anas, who said: There was a man who used to write in the presence of the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace. He had read [the surahs of] al-Baqarah and Ali 'Imran. And it was such that when a man read al-Baqarah and Ali 'Imran, he was considered great among us. He then mentioned the meaning of the hadith of Yazid.
