Musnad Ahmad 32:295

Yazid narrated to us, Hammad ibn Salamah informed us, from Thabit, from Anas; and 'Affan narrated to us, Hammad narrated to us, Thabit informed us, from Anas, that the Messenger of Allah (may Allah bless him and grant him peace) took a sword on the day of Uhud and said: "Who will take this sword?" A group of people took it and began looking at it. He said: "Who will take it by its right?" The people held back. Abu Dujanah Simak said: "I will take it by its right." So he took it and split the skulls of the polytheists.
