Musnad Ahmad 32:327

'Abd al-Samad narrated to us, Hammam narrated to us, Qatadah narrated to us, from Anas, that Umm Sulaym sent him to the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, with a tray upon which were fresh dates. He began to take a handful and send it to some of his wives, then he would take a handful and send it to some of his wives. Then he sat and ate the remainder, the eating of a man who knows that he desires it.
