Musnad Ahmad 32:331

Rawh ibn ‘Ubadah narrated to us, Sa‘id narrated to us, from Qatadah, from Anas ibn Malik; and Yunus narrated to us, Shayban narrated to us, Qatadah narrated to us, Anas ibn Malik narrated to us, that the Prophet of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "When the servant is placed in his grave and his companions turn away from him, such that he can hear the sound of their sandals, two angels come to him and make him sit up. They say to him: 'What did you used to say about this man?'—meaning Muhammad (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him). As for the believer, he says: 'I bear witness that he is the servant of Allah and His Messenger.' It is said to him: 'Look at your seat in the Fire; Allah has replaced it for you with a seat in Paradise.'" The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "So he sees them both." Rawh said in his narration: Qatadah said: "It was mentioned to us that his grave is widened for him by seventy cubits, and it is filled with greenery until the day they are resurrected." Then he returned to the hadith of Anas ibn Malik, saying: "As for the disbeliever and the hypocrite, it is said to him: 'What did you used to say about this man?' He says: 'I do not know. I used to say what the people said.' It is said to him: 'You neither knew nor followed.' Then he is struck with an iron hammer between his ears, and he lets out a cry that is heard by everyone near him, except for the two heavy ones (mankind and jinn)." And some of them said: "His grave is constricted upon him until his ribs cross over one another."
