Musnad Ahmad 32:402

'Abd al-Rahman—meaning Ibn Mahdi—narrated to us, from Hammad ibn Salamah, from Thabit, from Anas, from the Prophet (peace be upon him), who said: "A man from the people of Paradise will be brought on the Day of Resurrection, and Allah will say: 'O son of Adam, how did you find your dwelling?' He will say: 'O Lord, it is the best dwelling.' He will say: 'Ask and wish for it.' He will say: 'I do not ask or wish for anything except that You return me to the world, so that I may be killed in Your way ten times,' because of what he sees of the virtue of martyrdom."
