Bahz narrated to us, Hammam narrated to us, he said: I heard Qatadah saying, in his stories: Anas ibn Malik narrated to us that the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, said: "A people will emerge from the Fire after the scorching of the Fire has afflicted them, then they will enter Paradise, and the people of Paradise will call them 'the Jahannamiyyun' (the Hell-dwellers)." He said: Qatadah used to follow this narration—and Allah knows best—but the most deserving of your belief are the companions of the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, whom Allah chose for the companionship of His Prophet and the establishment of His religion.
