Musnad Ahmad 32:445

Bahz narrated to us, Sulayman ibn al-Mughirah narrated to us, from Thabit, from Anas, who said: The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) used to be pleased by a good dream. He would sometimes say: "Has anyone among you seen a dream?" If a man had seen a dream, he would ask about him; if there was no harm in him, his dream was more pleasing to him. He said: A woman came and said: "O Messenger of Allah, I saw as if I had entered Paradise, and I heard a commotion in it, for which Paradise shook. I looked, and behold, so-and-so, son of so-and-so, and so-and-so, son of so-and-so, had been brought," until she counted twelve men. The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) had sent out a military expedition before that. She said: "They were brought wearing dusty garments, their jugular veins bleeding." She said: "It was said: 'Take them to the River of Baydhakh'—or he said: 'to the River of Baydah'—so they were dipped in it, and they emerged from it with their faces like the moon on the night of the full moon." She said: "Then they were brought chairs of gold and sat upon them. A platter—or a word similar to it—was brought containing dates, and they ate from it. They would not turn it to any side but that they ate from whatever fruits they desired, and I ate with them." He said: Then the bearer of glad tidings came from that expedition and said: "O Messenger of Allah, such and such happened to us, and so-and-so and so-and-so were struck down," until he counted the twelve whom the woman had counted. The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: "Bring the woman to me." She came, and he said: "Relate your dream to this man." She related it, and he said: "It is just as she said to the Messenger of Allah."
