Rawh ibn ‘Ubadah narrated to us, Shu‘bah narrated to us, from Yunus ibn ‘Ubayd, from Abu Qudamah al-Hanafi, who said: I said to Anas: "With what did the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, perform the *ihlal* (the declaration of the intention for pilgrimage)?" He said: "I heard him seven times [saying]: 'For an ‘Umrah and a Hajj, for an ‘Umrah and a Hajj.'"
