Musnad Ahmad 32:554

Yunus narrated to us, Abu 'Awanah narrated to us, from 'Abd al-Rahman ibn al-Asamm, from Anas ibn Malik, that the Prophet, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, sent a silk tunic (jubbah) to 'Umar ibn al-Khattab. 'Umar said: "O Messenger of Allah, you have sent this to me, yet you have said about it what you said." He replied: "I did not send it to you for you to wear it; I only sent it to you so that you may benefit from its price, or sell it."
