Hadith 32:588

'Abd al-Samad narrated to us, my father narrated to me, 'Abd al-'Aziz narrated to us, from Anas, who said: While the Prophet of Allah, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, was among our palm trees—palm trees belonging to Abu Talhah—relieving himself for his need, he said: And Bilal was walking behind him, honoring the Prophet of Allah, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, by not walking beside him. The Prophet of Allah, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, passed by a grave, so he stood until Bilal reached him. He said: "Woe to you, O Bilal, do you hear what I hear?" He said: "I do not hear anything." He said: "The occupant of the grave is being punished." He said: So he was asked about him, and he was found to be a Jew.
