Surayj and Yunus ibn Muhammad narrated to us, they said: Hammad ibn Salamah narrated to us, from Qatadah and Thabit al-Bunani, from Anas ibn Malik, who said: Prices became high during the time of the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace. They said: "O Messenger of Allah, if only you would set prices." He said: "Indeed, Allah is the Creator, the Withholder, the Expander, the Provider, the Price-Setter. And I truly hope that I meet Allah while no one seeks from me an injustice that I committed against them regarding blood or wealth."
