Hadith 32:705
'Abd al-Razzaq narrated to us, Ma'mar narrated to us, from Thabit al-Bunani, from Anas, that a man from the people of the desert whose name was Zahir used to bring gifts to the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, from the desert. The Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, would provide him with provisions when he intended to leave. The Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, said: "Zahir is our desert, and we are his city-dwellers." The Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, loved him, and he was an unattractive man. The Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, came to him one day while he was selling his goods, and he embraced him from behind while the man could not see him. He said: "Let me go! Who is this?" He turned around and recognized the Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace. He then began to press his back against the chest of the Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, as much as he could once he recognized him. The Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, began to say: "Who will buy this slave?" He said: "O Messenger of Allah, by Allah, you will find me unsellable." The Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, said: "But in the sight of Allah, you are not unsellable," or he said: "But in the sight of Allah, you are valuable."
