Musnad Ahmad 32:707

'Abd al-Razzaq narrated to us, Ma'mar narrated to us, from Thabit al-Bunani, that he heard Anas ibn Malik say: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, said: "Indeed, the Ansar are my inner circle (lit. my satchel/receptacle) to whom I have sought refuge. So, accept from their doers of good, and pardon their wrongdoers. For they have fulfilled that which was upon them, and that which is for them remains."
