'Abd al-Razzaq narrated to us, Sufyan narrated to us, from the one who heard Anas ibn Malik say: The Prophet, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, said: "There is no *shighar* (marrying a woman on the condition that one gives his own female relative in exchange without dowry) in Islam, and there is no *is'ad* (wailing/lamenting for the dead) in Islam, and there is no *hilf* (sworn alliance/confederacy) in Islam, and there is no *jalab* (bringing horses or camels to a race and driving them from behind), and there is no *janab* (the rider staying away from the race track)."
