'Abd al-Razzaq narrated to us, Ma'mar narrated to us, from Qatadah—regarding the saying of the Almighty, the Majestic: {And shade extended} [Al-Waqi'ah: 30]—from Anas ibn Malik, that the Prophet, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, said: "Indeed, in Paradise there is a tree; a rider travels in its shade for one hundred years without crossing it." Ma'mar said: And Muhammad ibn Ziyad informed me that he heard Abu Hurairah saying it from the Prophet, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him. And Abu Hurairah says: "And read, if you wish: {And shade extended} [Al-Waqi'ah: 30]."
