Musnad Ahmad 32:78

Ibn Abi ‘Adi narrated to us, from Humayd, from Anas, who said: The Prophet, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, passed by a group of his companions while a young boy was in the road. When his mother saw the group, she feared for her child that he might be trampled, so she came running and saying, "My son! My son!" She hurried and took him. The people said, "O Messenger of Allah, this woman would not throw her son into the fire." The Prophet, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, calmed them and said, "And the guardianship of Allah, the Almighty and Majestic, does not cast His beloved into the fire."
