Hadith 32:794
Muhammad ibn Ja‘far narrated to us, he said: Sa‘id narrated to us, from Qatadah, from Anas ibn Malik, that a group from ‘Ukl and ‘Uraynah came to the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, and said: "O Messenger of Allah, we were people of livestock and we were not people of the countryside." So they found the climate of Medina unsuitable. The Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, ordered a herd of camels for them, and ordered them to go out with them and drink from their milk and their urine. They did so, then they killed the shepherd of the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, drove away the herd, and disbelieved after their Islam. The Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, sent in pursuit of them. They were brought, so he cut off their hands and their feet, branded their eyes, and left them in the rocky volcanic land (al-harrah) until they died.
