Musnad Ahmad 32:797

Muhammad ibn Ja‘far and Rawh narrated to us, they said: Sa‘id narrated to us, from Qatadah, from Anas ibn Malik, who said: The Messenger of Allah (may Allah bless him and grant him peace) said: "Do not practice continuous fasting (wisal)." It was said: "You practice continuous fasting, O Messenger of Allah." He said: "I am not like any one of you; my Lord feeds me and gives me to drink."
