Musnad Ahmad 32:805

Muhammad ibn Ja‘far and Hajjaj narrated to us, they said: Shu‘bah narrated to us, from Hisham ibn Zayd, from Anas ibn Malik, that a Jew killed a young girl for some silver ornaments of hers. He said: So he killed her with a stone. He said: She was brought to the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, while she still had a glimmer of life. He said to her: "Did so-and-so kill you?" She signaled with her head: "No." Then he said to her a second time, and she signaled with her head: "No." Then he asked her a third time, and she said: "Yes," and signaled with her head. So the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, killed him between two stones.
