Musnad Ahmad 32:853

Mu'ammal narrated to us, Hammad narrated to us, from Thabit, from Anas, that the companions of the Prophet, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, said to the Prophet, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him: "When we are with you, you speak to us and our hearts soften. But when we leave you, we busy ourselves with our wives and children, and we do this and we do that." The Prophet, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, said: "If you were to remain in that state which you are in when you are with me, the angels would shake your hands."
