Musnad Ahmad 32:93

Ibn Abi ‘Adi narrated to us, from Humayd, from Anas, that the Banu Salimah wanted to move from their dwellings and live near the mosque. This reached the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, and he disliked that the outskirts of Medina would become vacant. He said: "O Banu Salimah, do you not seek the reward for your footsteps to the mosque?" They said: "Yes, O Messenger of Allah." So they remained.
