Musnad Ahmad 32:934

Yahya narrated to us, from Humayd, from Anas: "The Prophet, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, heard the crying of a child during the prayer, so he lightened it." We thought that he lightened it for the sake of his mother in the prayer, out of mercy for the child.
