Musnad Ahmad 32:96

Ibn Abi ‘Adi narrated to us, from Humayd, from Anas, who said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "If Allah wills good for a servant, He employs him." They said: "And how does He employ him?" He said: "He grants him success to perform a righteous deed before his death."
