Isma'il narrated to us, 'Abd al-'Aziz narrated to us, from Anas, who said: They passed by a funeral, and it was praised with good. The Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, said: "It has become incumbent, it has become incumbent, it has become incumbent." And they passed by a funeral, and it was praised with evil. The Prophet of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, said: "It has become incumbent, it has become incumbent, it has become incumbent." 'Umar said: "May my father and mother be ransomed for you! A funeral passed by, and it was praised with good, and you said: 'It has become incumbent, it has become incumbent, it has become incumbent.' And a funeral passed by, and it was praised with evil, and you said: 'It has become incumbent, it has become incumbent, it has become incumbent.'" He said: "Whoever you praised with good, Paradise has become incumbent for him. And whoever you praised with evil, the Fire has become incumbent for him. You are the witnesses of Allah on the earth, you are the witnesses of Allah on the earth, you are the witnesses of Allah on the earth."
