Musnad Ahmad 623:7

'Abd al-Wahhab al-Khaffaf narrated to us, Sa'id informed us, from Qatadah, from Shahr ibn Hawshab, from 'Abd al-Rahman ibn Ghanam, from 'Amr ibn Kharijah, who said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) delivered a sermon to us while he was at Mina upon his riding beast. I was beneath the neck of his she-camel, and she was chewing her cud, and her saliva was flowing between my shoulders. He said: "Indeed, Allah has allotted to every person his share of the inheritance, and no bequest is permissible for an heir. Beware, the child belongs to the bed (the marriage), and for the adulterer is the stone (deprivation). Beware, whoever claims to be the son of someone other than his father, or attaches himself to someone other than his masters, turning away from them, then upon him is the curse of Allah, the angels, and all of mankind." Sa'id said: Matar narrated to us, from Shahr ibn Hawshab, from 'Abd al-Rahman ibn Ghanam, from 'Amr ibn Kharijah, from the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) the like of it. And Matar added in the hadith: "And neither a mandatory act nor a supererogatory act will be accepted from him."
