Musnad Ahmad 532:1

'Affan narrated to us, Hammad ibn Salamah narrated to us, he said: 'Ikrimah ibn Khalid al-Makhzumi informed us, from his father, or from his paternal uncle, from his grandfather, that the Messenger of Allah (may Allah bless him and grant him peace) said during the expedition of Tabuk: "If the plague occurs in a land and you are in it, then do not depart from it. And if it occurs in a land and you are not in it, then do not advance toward it."
