Ibrahim ibn Ishaq al-Taliqani narrated to us, al-Walid ibn Muslim narrated to us, from al-Awza'i, from Isma'il ibn 'Ubayd Allah, from Fadalah ibn 'Ubayd, from the Prophet, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, who said: "Allah is more attentive to a man with a beautiful voice reciting the Quran than a master of a singing girl is to his singing girl."
