Musnad Ahmad 1118:27

Abdullah ibn al-Walid narrated to us, he said: Sufyan informed us, and Muhammad ibn Kathir, the brother of Sulayman ibn Kathir, said: Sufyan narrated to us, from Ibn Abi Layla, from a man, from his father, from Fudalah ibn Ubayd: "That they were with the Prophet, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, on a military expedition. He said: And there were among us slaves, so he did not distribute [a share of the spoils] to them."
