Musnad Ahmad 12:6

Yazid narrated to us, Sadaqah ibn Musa informed us, from Abu Imran al-Jawni, from Qays ibn Zayd, from the judge of the two garrison cities (al-Misrayn), from Abd al-Rahman ibn Abi Bakr, who said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "Verily, Allah, the Almighty and Majestic, will summon the person in debt on the Day of Resurrection, and He will make him stand before Him. He will say: 'O My servant, in what did you spend the wealth of the people?' He will say: 'O my Lord, You know that I did not squander it; it was only lost through drowning, or burning, or theft, or a loss in trade.' Then Allah, the Almighty and Majestic, will summon something and place it in his scale, and his good deeds will outweigh [his sins]."
