Narrated by Abd al-Rahman ibn Abi Qurad: The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) performed ablution one day, and his companions began to wipe their bodies with the water from his ablution. The Prophet (ﷺ) said to them, "What causes you to do this?" They replied, "The love of Allah and His Messenger." He (ﷺ) said, "Whoever wishes to love Allah and His Messenger, or for Allah and His Messenger to love him, let him speak the truth when he speaks, let him fulfill his trust when he is entrusted, and let him be a good neighbor to his neighbor."
