Hadith of Abd al-Rahman ibn Ghanam al-Ash'ari (RA)
حديث عبد الرحمن بن غنم الأشعري
Hadith 593:7
Hashim ibn al-Qasim narrated to us, he said: Abd al-Hamid narrated to us, he said: Shahr narrated to us, from Ibn Ghanm, that al-Dari used to give gifts to the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace. He mentioned its meaning, except that he said: "So they melted it and made it into grease, and they sold it for what they eat."
حدثنا هاشم بن القاسم، قال: حدثنا عبد الحميد، قال: حدثنا شهر، عن ابن غنم ، أن الداري، كان يهدي لرسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم فذكر معناه، إلا أنه قال: فأذابوه وجعلوه إهالة، فباعوا به ما يأكلون
