Musnad Ahmad 593:9

Sufyan narrated to us, from Ibn Abi Husayn, from Shahr ibn Hawshab, from Abd al-Rahman ibn Ghanam, attributing it to the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace: "The best of the servants of God are those who, when they are seen, God is remembered. And the worst of the servants of God are those who walk about with slander, those who cause separation between loved ones, and those who seek distress for the innocent."
