Musnad Ahmad 540:2

Abu Mu’awiyah narrated to us, Al-A’mash narrated to us, from Zayd ibn Wahb, from Abd al-Rahman ibn Hasnah, who said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) came out to us, and in his hand was something like a shield. He placed it down, then sat, and the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) urinated toward it. Some of the people said: "Look at him, he urinates as a woman urinates." The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) heard them and said: "Woe to you! Do you not know what happened to a man from the Children of Israel? When any urine touched them, they would cut it away with scissors. He forbade them, and he was punished in his grave."
