Musnad Ahmad 145:2

'Abd al-Samad narrated to us, Hammam narrated to us, Yahya narrated to us, from Zayd ibn Salam, from his grandfather, from Abu Rashid al-Hubrani, from 'Abd al-Rahman ibn Shibl, that the Prophet, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, said: "Recite the Quran, and do not exceed the limits regarding it, and do not turn away from it, and do not consume [wealth] by means of it, and do not seek to increase [your worldly gain] through it."
