Musnad Ahmad 769:16

Muhammad ibn Ja'far narrated to us, Shu'bah narrated to us, a man from Bajilah informed me, he said: I heard Abdullah ibn Abi Awfa saying: A slave girl was beating a tambourine in the presence of the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace. Then Abu Bakr came, then Umar came, then Uthman, may Allah be pleased with them, came, so she stopped. The Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, said: "Indeed, Uthman is a shy man."
