Hadith 769:43
'Abd al-Razzaq narrated to us, Sufyan informed us, from Sulayman al-Shaybani, from 'Abdullah ibn Abi Awfa, who said: I heard the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) forbidding the green jar—meaning the nabidh (fermented drink) in the green jar. He said: I said: "What about the white one?" He said: "I do not know."
حدثنا عبد الرزاق، أخبرنا سفيان، عن سليمان الشيباني، عن عبد الله بن أبي أوفى قال: سمعت رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم " ينهى عن الجر الأخضر " يعني النبيذ في الجر الأخضر، قال: قلت: فالأبيض؟ قال: " لا أدري "
