Hadith of Abdullah bin Busr al-Mazini (RA)
Hadith 534:22
Muhammad ibn Ja‘far narrated to us, Shu‘bah narrated to us, from Yazid ibn Khumayr, from ‘Abdullah ibn Busr, who said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) stayed with my father. He said: So we brought near to him food and *watbah* (a dish made of dates and yogurt), and he ate from it. Then dates were brought, and he began to eat them and cast the pits with his two fingers, joining the index and the middle finger—Shu‘bah said: This is my assumption, and it is in it, if Allah wills. Then a drink was brought, and he drank it. Then he handed it to the one who was on his right. He said: My father said—while taking hold of the bridle of his mount—: "Supplicate to Allah for us." He said: "O Allah, bless them in what You have provided for them, forgive them, and have mercy upon them."
