Musnad Ahmad 534:7

Abu al-Mughirah narrated to us, Safwan ibn ‘Amr narrated to us, he said: ‘Abdullah ibn Busr al-Mazini narrated to me, he said: My father sent me to the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, to invite him to food. He came with me, and when I drew near to the house, I hurried and informed my parents. They came out and met the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, and welcomed him. We placed for him a velvet cloth we had, which had a nap, and he sat upon it. Then my father said to my mother: "Bring your food." She came with a bowl containing flour that she had cooked with water and salt, and she placed it before the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace. He said: "Take, in the name of Allah, from its sides, and leave its top, for the blessing is in it." The Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, ate, and we ate with him, and some of it remained. Then the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, said: "O Allah, forgive them, have mercy upon them, bless them, and expand their provisions for them."
