Hadith of ‘Abdullah bin Hanzalah ibn al-Rahib, Abu ‘Amir al-Ghasil, the one washed by the angels (RA)
حديث عبد الله بن حنظلة ابن الراهب أبي عامر الغسيل غسيل الملائكة
Hadith 956:3
Muhammad ibn Ja'far narrated to us, Sa'id narrated to us, from Muhammad ibn al-Munkadir, from a man, from 'Abdullah ibn Hanzalah ibn al-Rahib: That a man greeted the Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, while he had urinated, so the Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, did not return the greeting to him until he gestured with his hand toward the wall—meaning that he performed tayammum.
حدثنا محمد بن جعفر ، حدثنا سعيد، عن محمد بن المنكدر، عن رجل، عن عبد الله بن حنظلة بن الراهب: أن رجلا سلم على النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم وقد بال، فلم يرد عليه النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم حتى قال بيده إلى الحائط " يعني أنه تيمم
